Transitions Advising & Orientation

The Transitions program is for new transfer and postbaccalaureate students coming in for Fall Quarter and supports your transition to campus with an academic advising and campus orientation program. Transitions is an early registration opportunity for new transfers and postbaccs, and includes a full schedule of workshops, presentations, opportunities to connect with academic departments, academic advising sessions, and class registration. Additionally, the Transitions program also has a Family Orientation program that runs concurrently with the student program.

Transitions 2018 offers 3 session dates during the summer. Students will make an online reservation for one of the dates; reservations will be through the New Student Services/Family Outreach website and will typically open in very early June. Students who do not attend one of the Transitions sessions must wait until Phase II of the Fall Quarter registration process for the next opportunity to register for Fall Quarter classes (see the Registrar’s Important Dates and Deadlines website for on-going details).
