Spring Advising & Orientation 2020 dates:

Transfer Students:

Spring Advising & Orientation (Spring A&O) is for new first-year (Freshmen/Running Start) and transfer students, and supports your transition to campus with an academic advising and campus orientation program.

For new First-Year (Freshmen/Running Start) students, Spring Advising & Orientation is REQUIRED. Please make a reservation to confirm your attendance at Spring Advising & Orientation.

For new Transfer students, Spring Advising & Orientation is strongly recommended, but not required. Please make a reservation to attend Spring Advising & Orientation.

Spring A&O offers a streamlined process for new students to meet with campus staff to learn about critical campus and advising resources, receive academic advising support to build class schedules, and prepare for the class registration process. You’ll also have time in the day to visit the Associated Students Bookstore and other campus resource offices and support services.

For new Post-baccalaureate students, rather than a formal advising session, Postbacc students are invited and encouraged to schedule an individual advising appointment prior to Spring quarter registration. Please contact the Academic Advising Center by e-mail at or call (360) 650-3850 to schedule an advising appointment.
