Out-Of-State Student Dinner

Western Washington University host new out-of-state students and families for a dinner each year on the Saturday before Fall quarter begins. The dinner provides an opportunity for students and families to gather with others from their home state while enjoying a meal and a brief presentation together. Invitations will be emailed to incoming, out-of-state students in August 2020. Reservations are required to attend and limited to two family members per student. Returning and international students are not eligible.

Reservation is open August 23 - September 13, 2019*

*Capacity is limited to 480 attendees at which time reservations will be closed.

4:30pm Check-in, Viking Commons
5:00pm Dinner
5:15pm Program Presentation
6:30pm Program closes

Please note: Students who wish to move in early to the residence halls on Saturday, September 21 can do so at no charge if they attend the Out-of-State Student Dinner. Students must check in and attend the dinner to be eligible for the fee waiver. Please contact University Residences at or (360)650-6565 with questions regarding Early Arrival.
